Conrad Horn Signed Percussion Kentucky Rifle
Kentucky percussion rifle made in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, circa 1850. Rifle measures 48" overall with 32-1/4" octagon smoothbore barrel in 45 caliber with hunting sights (missing front) and signed in script "C.H." Unmarked percussion lock with double set trigger control. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware including pierced brass cheek inlay, an engraved four piece patchbox with three piercings, floral engraved lid and trademark "Face" finial. Replaced hardwood ramrod. CALIBER: 45. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall good with metal having some applied finish. Stock has been cleaned and some age cracks and dings with a coat of linseed oil. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics.
