DESIRABLE GROUP OF 3 OVERSIZED RIFLE, REVOLVER,
AND KNIFE STORE DISPLAYS. 1) Wood display of a Winchester Model 1866 lever action rifle. Brass colored frame, buttplate, and rear bbl. band, with brass colored tack decorated butt. CONDITION: very good overall, with the display retaining the vast majority of its original paint and showing some scattered marks from handling and storage. 2) Aluminum display of a Colt Model 1849 Pocket / 1851 Navy percussion revolver. Frame, bbl., loading lever, cyl., and hammer exhibit a gray painted finish, with the trigger guard exhibiting a "brass" painted finish. 2 piece smooth wood grips. CONDITION: exterior exhibits flaking to the paint, but display otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable overall. Grips show some marks from handling and storage. 3) Large bowie knife display in a style reminiscent of a Sheffield bowie knife. Large steel blade measures 20 3/4" in length and 2 5/8" from the blade face to the spine. Right side of ricasso is marked "PIC/ JAPAN". Aluminum S guard with pinned crosshatched wood grips. CONDITION: blade exhibits dark discoloration overall, as a result from cleaned oxidation. Grip shows some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
