David Jackson Original Oil – “Hilltop Grizzly”
A native of Ogden, Utah, David’s interest in art began at an early age and he has been working as a professional artist for over forty years. David is well known for his accurate depictions of wildlife and western landscapes. This piece numbered 7/2015 and titled “Hilltop Grizzly” depicts a haggard looking grizzly that one may think has recently emerged from his long winters nap. He is standing over a full curl set of horns, leaving us to wonder if he had come across this Ram that perished during a long winter or did the grizzly in fact take his live to assure he could live to see another season. This is truly a beautiful piece that anyone would be proud to display and come to your own conclusion of the story behind the “Hilltop Grizzly”.
