Receiver made at Springfield Armory in March of 1944 with 24" "SA 2-52" dated barrel. Standard sights with late style T37 flash suppressor and M-84 scope. Rifle has all "SA" marked internals with "SA" marked cut op-rod. Walnut stock with "P" in circle proof and no visible arsenal stamp. T-4, "M.R.T.2-52" marked leather cheek pad. Comes with woven green fabric sling. Appears to be a DCM assembled rifle. CALIBER: 30-06. S/N: 2634773. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
80% original arsenal finish with handling wear. Mount and scope are reproductions. Flash hider is also a reproduction. Mildew resistant treatment check piece appears to be original. Stock retains a dark oil finish with visible "P" in circle and "C" grip stamp. Good bore with TE of 2 and ME of 2 with good mechanics.
