If you are an expert birder, we can agree on the fact that Argentina is a #1-world destination for wing shooting. If you are searching for the best place, do not look elsewhere! Wingshooting Unlimited a NWTF Diamond Life Sponsor located in Santiago del Estero is THE place. It could be fairly defined as a bird sanctuary. Only three outfitters operate in the province, bordering Córdoba to the North, which results in an amazing number of birds across the sky throughout the year. We can provide true mixed bag hunting out of just one lodge. Partridge (“perdiz”) and pigeon can be combined at your choice at any time of the year. And for fishing lovers, the best golden “Dorado” can be fished in Salado and Dulce rivers.
We are really talking about great hunting! Dove, duck and pigeon hunting, and the finest upland “perdiz” pursued over exceptional trained pointing dogs.
On a typical dove hunt day, you can shoot up to 1,000 rounds and even more, while on a full day of pigeon, 15-20 boxes of shells are not unusual at all! You should think about three or four boxes for a duck shoot, and a couple more for perdiz as well… It is impossible to describe unless you experience it!
LODGES AND SERVICE
We’ll meet you at Santiago del Estero Airport and drive you to La Pichona or Charca Lodge, just about 20 miles from the city.
Dove hunting takes place in our fields, about 7 miles from the lodge, in which pigeon and “charata” can also be shot and golden “dorado” fished according to the season. Paso de Oscares Duck House, our new lodge in the duck hunting area is about two hours’ drive from La Pichona and Charca Lodges.
The lodges, opened all year long, comfortably accommodate up to sixteen people, offering a pleasant stay. All rooms (double or triple) with private bathroom, and air conditioning, as well as heating. Wi-fi also available.
All the meals, made by our chef, give our guests the chance to taste the best Argentinean beef and wines, as well as the daily hunt.
We can book hotel and shuttle service in Buenos Aires to avoid loss of time and inconvenience on arrival and make all the necessary arrangements if you wished to visit the city or enjoy a Dinner Tango Show.
ACCESS
Once you arrive in Buenos Aires (Ezeiza International Airport), you’ll need a domestic flight to Santiago del Estero, departing from Aeroparque Newbery. The connection between airports takes one hour thirty minutes. You can take a regular shuttle service or we can offer a private service with English-speaking driver, who will give airport assistance if necessary, which we highly recommend.
Flights to SDE are operated by Aerolineas Argentinas and depart daily in the afternoon, while return to BUE is after breakfast.
On arrival in Argentina, you’ll need to land in BUE before 12:00pm to catch the BUE-SDE flight without inconvenience. American Airlines and United Airlines and Latam are the most frequently used by our American hunters.
We’ll feel proud to count you among our upcoming guests to experience the best WINGSHOOTING IN ARGENTINA. Our products are unequaled in price and their quality is guaranteed since we are dependent on every detail…
