REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 9516 (1918). This polished blued revolver has matching numbered 6" barrel, 6 shot fluted cyl., grooved hammer, & smooth walnut dished grips (right panel pencil numbered). Assembly S# "S2152" on frame & yoke. Polished blued pistol with case colored concentric ring hammer & trigger. Lanyard loop on butt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Standard Nomenclature list for M1917 revolver. CONDITION: very fine. Over 97% original blue finish with light wear at muzzle, faint cylinder turn line, scattered light scratches & pinprick patina on frame around grip. Good wood finish with a couple of gouges or chips; right panel has lighter tone than left panel. Near excellent bore. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Edward Scott Meadows. (24-700/MD).
