Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 10429. Bbl. 4 3/4". Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on the slide, trigger, bolt, and cocking piece; one grip panel is mismatched and the other is unnumbered; the firing pin and extension are also unnumbered. Right rear of the frame has a 5.2 Showa date for February 1930. Right rear of the slide has the Tokyo Arsenal symbol with serial number. Blued finish with strawed, small parts. Asian hardwood grooved grips. MAGS: two 8-rd., one being mismatched and the other restamped to match over an old number. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Clamshell leather holster, numbered to a different pistol, in fair condition. CONDITION: Grips show some wear from safety rotation, a couple of small chips, and handling wear. Metal retains most of its original blue, with scattered peppery oxidation and some pitting patches. Action appears to function properly, with safety being a bit loose. Worn bore with scattered oxidation and pitting. (24-6993/MJC). CURIO. $600-900.
