Early Belgium Browning SA Grade III Semi-Automatic Rifle
Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning in 1956. Early 1st year importation of this model. 19-1/4" blued round barrel with bead pedestal front sight and desirable early "Wheel" rear sight in 22 Long Rifle caliber with Browning St. Louis, Missouri address. Satin finished Grade III style engraved takedown receiver with dog and bird scenes with no engraver signature. Early guns could possibly be engraved by Felix Funken. Light tone walnut skip-line checkered pistol grip stock with side loading and blued steel serrated butt plate. Matching walnut swelled skip-line checkered forearm. LOP: 13-3/4". DAC: 1-3/16". DAH: 2-5/8". CALIBER: 22LR. S/N: T7745. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 92% with 1/4" ding in forearm and some light scratches and freckling. Excellent bore and mechanics.
