Very early model 1884 .45-70 carbine boot with the two straps around and attaching strap to saddle.  This proceeded the M1959 Carbine Socket with the brass throat at the top. It is stamped with "Rock Island Arsenal" and engraved Initials "LL" about 1/2" wide on the backside. **Overall Leather has some cracking on the surface and is a little stiff. It still has all the leather straps and buckles, and the stitching is tight. Overall a nice piece in very good condition** $250-$350
