No 3 Mk IR British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by the Remington Arms for use during WWI. "ERA" stamped on right chamber. British proofs present. Features dog-leg bolt handle, protected blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight with peep apertures, approx 26 inch barrel, manual safety, sling swivels, Smooth steel trapdoor butt plate, storage compartment in butt, blue finish, wood stock with handguard. Intact volley sights, stock disc removed. Bore is very good with strong rifling, some light frosting in the grooves. Retains 85% finish on metal parts, showing edge wear, handling/friction wear on the bolt Stock is very good with some minor scratches/dents. Imported by CAI, marked on underside of barrel.
