No 3 Mk IR' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by the Remington Arms for use during WWI. "RE" in circle stamped on chamber. Features dog-leg bolt handle, protected blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight with peep apertures, approx 26 inch barrel, manual safety, sling swivels, Smooth steel trapdoor butt plate, storage compartment in butt, blue finish, wood stock with handguard. Intact volley sights, stock disc removed. Bore is good with strong rifling, some light frosting in the grooves. Retains 80% finish on metal parts, showing edge wear, handling/friction wear on the bolt Stock is sound with many scratches/dents, the is a 7" hairline crack in the right stock under the chamber. Right butt stock stamped "PATT. 14". Imported by CAI, marked on right side of barrel.
