The Cody Firearms Records Office confirms original production by Winchester in 1940 for the H&D Folsom Arms Company. Later upgraded by Frank Pachmayr at unknown time for donation to Pachmayr supported organizations. Blued 26" Winchester proof steel barrels with matted rib, Lyman bead front sight, steel bead mid sight with ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers with WS-1 and WS-2 chokes in 12 Gauge. Barrels have deep relief floral engraving at muzzle and breech with gold banding. Left breech has gold quail in flight and "Pachmayr Custom" in gold. Right breech has a quail in flight in gold. Blued relief floral engraved receiver marked "TOURNAMENT" with left panel having two gold quails. Right panel has two gold grouse in flight. Floor plate has large woodcock in flight in gold. Action has original gold-plated Winchester single selective trigger and non automatic tang safety. Walnut feather crotch pistol grip stock with Fleur de Lis and flame checkering, Pachmayr "Old English" rubber recoil pad and Pachmayr hard rubber grip cap with silver plaque inscribed "DONATED BY NANITA AND FRANK PACHMAYR". Matching Fleur de Lis checkered walnut beavertail forearm with blued floral engraved roller latch and forearm iron. Includes a research letter from the Cody Firearms Records Office. LOP: 14-1/4".
