Exceptional Spanish Chest formerly displayed at the Mission San Juan Capistrano; iron work over wood with handmade wood wheels added during lifetime of use. Metal money box inside for housing collections; approximately 38.5” x 52.25”; ca 1600-1800; one of the best California pieces we have seen from the Colonial era; retail at gallery $9,000-$14,000; good overall condition for its age with normal distress, aging and imperfections for a 200+ year old piece. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
