Lot Includes: 1-Experimental 1890's US Army Brown enameled circular US Army canteen with black enamel US in center of canteen, complete with strap. Strap & hooks are present and strap is marked "R.I.A." and dated 1905. It has the full cork, cork ring, and chain intact and undamaged, which is usually either bent, broken, or missing some part in this area. Very colorful and would display well with a 1890's officer display 1-Experimental 1890's US Army blue agate enamel plated metal canteen with the embossed US in Center of Cup. Displays well. **Canteen has a large dent and missing enamel on the backside and two chips on the left side of the canteen with minor chipping around the edges which is typical. Otherwise is excellent with a full cork and chain, the full strap & hooks, and the U.S. on the front is very nice. This item is excellent with Exception of the dent.** **Canteen cup has minor chipping all around the top of the edge lip and the bottom edge which is typical of these enameled pieces. The enamel otherwise nice with plenty of coating left for display. Overall in excellent condition.** $300-$500
