Made in Belgium by Browning in 1923. Extremely rare graded Browning A-5 semi-automatic shotgun with graded guns rarely seen and extremely rare in this configuration and condition. These were not inexpensive guns. 30" blued steel barrel with raised hollow rib, bead front sight and marked with Browning St. Louis, Missouri address and Belgium proofs with barrel numbered for gun. Barrel is choked full with 2-3/4" chambers. Blued game scene engraved receiver with dog and boar scene on left and running deer scene on right with plain trigger and trigger guard safety. Rare special order English grip, walnut checkered stock with carved teardrop side panels, and fitted with "FN" hard rubber butt plate. Matching checkered walnut forearm. LOP: 14-1/4". DAC: 1-1/2". CONDITION
Overall 95% plus with light wear in handling areas. Stock appears to have been professionally cleaned. Good bore and mechanics. A super rare gun.
