ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 22 LR. S# 17845. Bbl. 6". Fine Officers Model double action revolver chambered in .22 LR mfg. by Colt in 1937. Left side of the bbl. is marked "COLT", followed by "OFFICERS/ MODEL" and ".22 LONG RIFLE", with Colt's mfg. and patent information marked across the top. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo as well as Colt's "VP" proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece aftermarket checkered wood grips. Patridge front sight and adj. square notch rear sight, with checkered backstrap and trigger. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish overall, save for a few spots of light edge wear as well as a few superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
