This package includes a six day/seven night guided black bear hunt, your choice of rifle or archery AND excellent walleye fishing on the Waterhen River. Both adventures are donated by Jon and Karissa Warkentin, owners and operators at Harvest Lodge. You will enjoy modern accommodations in one of our beautiful cabins nestled among the spruce and birch trees near the river. Hunt your bear from a two-person ladder stand at baits that are maintained in our exclusive wildlife management area. With nearly a 100% success rate –you won’t have to worry about the opportunity for a great bear. In your free time, enjoy complimentary access to one of our boats and a portion of the only eco-certified sustainable fresh water fishery in Canada accredited by the Marine Stewardship Council. Karissa will even fry up your fresh walleyes! Package includes all meals. Buyer is responsible for their Manitoba Non-Resident Bear License and Manitoba Fishing License- both which will be available at Harvest Lodge upon arrival. A non-hunting partner is welcome at the additional cost of $600.00 for the week. Harvest Lodge can arrange for a fishing guide at an additional cost with prior request.
