No.1: Winchester bayonet. 17" blued fullered blade. 21 11/16" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "1917" & encircled "W". Marked on right ricasso "U.S. / flaming bomb / eagle acceptance mark / X". Straight crossguard. Walnut handle w/ 2 grooves retained by screws. Drain hole is present in pommel. Green plastic scabbard w/ metal throat is marked "US-M1917 / B M CO". Bayonet retains 60% arsenal rework blue finish w/ light wear. Blade has been sharpened before bluing. Grips have moderate wear, staining & small missing chips. Plastic scabbard is in very good condition. No.2: Remington bayonet. 16 1/2" blued fullered blade. 21 5/8" overall. Blade marked on left ricasso "1917" & encircled "REMINGTON". Right ricasso has "flaming bomb / U.S. / eagle head acceptance mark / 29". Walnut grips w/ 2 grooves. Black leather scabbard w/ metal throat & tip. CONDITION: blade has been lightly sharpened before the moderately worn arsenal rework blue finish. Grips have moderate wear, staining & handling marks. Scabbard shows wear & scuffing of the black leather. Throat & tip turning gray & patina. Stitching appears generally tight. No.3: Remington bayonet. 16 15/16" blued steel fullered blade. 21 3/4" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "1917" & encircled "REMINGTON". Right ricasso has "flaming bomb / U.S. / eagle head / 5". Grooved walnut grips. Right grip has lightly stamped "5". Pommel w/ drain hole stamped "37". Green leather scabbard marked "E.J.B.". Metal throat & tip. CONDITION: blade retains most of its arsenal rework blue finish w/ light wear. Blade has been lightly sharpened before bluing. Grips have light wear & scattered handling marks. Scabbard has moderate wear & scratches. Metal parts turning gray & patina. No.4: Remington bayonet. 17" fullered two-tone blade. 21 11/16" overall. Blade was bright, now turned gray. Approx. 1" forward of crossguard. Ricasso is blue. Left ricasso marked "1917" & encircled "REMINGTON". Right ricasso marked w/ "flaming bomb / U.S. / X / eagle head / 1". Grooved walnut grips. Pommel has drain hole. Green leather scabbard w/ metal throat & tip. Scabbard is faintly marked on back w/ "GK / J.L.R.". CONDITION: blade has been lightly sharpened. Original finish has light wear, turning gray. Balance of metal retains a large degree of original blue. Grips have good appearance w/ scattered handling marks. Scabbard has worn green finish w/ scratches. Metal parts turning gray & patina. (02-23709-2/RW). NON-GUN. $350-550.
