"The Death of the Kalahari" - Original oil painting by wildlife artist Natasha "Nata" Bryan, measures 32.5x26.5 framed. Nata draws inspiration for her work in nature. A master of watercolor, oil, pastel and other painting techniques, Nata has always been fascinated by the natural world and she loves the challenge of capturing its beauty. Nata has also cultivated an interest in the fascinating world of animals and nature during her travels to various exotic corners of the world, such as South Africa and the Caribbean. "The Death of the Kalahari" painting recounts the African leopard hunting expeditions with her husband, Jason Bryan, filled with 'wild adventure, cool, daring and narrow escapes from death'. A work of sport and travel, this piece describes Nata's journeys through the Kalahari Desert and Botswana exploring the lands of the Gaborone and Zambia region where she captured sketches of hippopotamus, lion, eland, leopard, rhinoceros, buffalo, kudu and giraffe.
