SUBMACHINE GUN. Cal. 45 ACP. S# S-113410. Bbl. 10 1/2". Classic Thompson SMG US Model 1928 manufactured by Auto-Ordnance in Bridgeport, CT. Parkerized receiver & trigger group w/ blued, 29 rib finned barrel terminated w/ Cutts compensator, marked w/ Thompson bullet logo, Cutts logo, "Auto-Ordnance Corporation" & patent dates. Vertical wood fore arm. Front blade sight integral w/ compensator & rear is adj. Lyman graduated sight. Hardwood, rear stock w/ trapdoor buttplate & oil bottle. Sling swivel at 6-O’clock below shoulder stock. Slotted top mounted knurled cocking knob. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Left side receiver markings are as follows: Inspectors marks "GEG", indicating that it was inspected by George E. Goll, Auto-Ordnance's chief inspector. "Model of 1928" / Thompson Submachine Gun / Calibre 45 Automatic Cartridge". Right side markings include patent block on rear of receiver & "Auto-Ordnance Corporation / Bridgeport Connecticut, U.S.A.". Trigger frame serial number S-113410, matching receiver. MAGS: (7 total) 4 blued 30 rd. & 1 blued 20 rd. stick mags; 1 blued 50 rd. "L" Drum made by Seymour & 1 parkerized 50 rd. "L" Drum made by United Specialties. CONDITION: finish on exposed metal receiver surfaces demonstrating some thinning & drag lines, typical of light use. Barrel finish complete & consistent w/ some thinning on Cutts compensator. All original markings are easy to read. Wood furniture nicely matching and has a few light period typical depressions & no visible structural damage. Bright bore w/ strong rifling.
