This fully donated Black Bear hunt in Maine is for 1 hunter in the Fall of 2016 only. This will be a 6 day hunt with accommodations in a 4 person log cabin with meals included. Coyote can be added at no extra charge. Additional hunters are welcome at $1788/ person and non-hunter for $488/ per person. Over the counter license ($188.00) is hunter responsibility. The arrival and departure point for this hunt is Ashland, Maine. Their hunting area is over 500,000 acres in the top 3 black bear producing counties of the state. Bait areas are set up with ground blinds or tree stands and can accommodate rifle, handgun or archery hunters. Included is transportation after arriving in camp and skinning of trophies. Check with the outfitter at their booth on upgrade to hunting with dogs. Eastern Chapter WSF was happy to contribute GIA dollars last year to help “Save Maine’s Black Bear Hunt” referendum. We thank them for offering this 100% donation.
