Falling Block Works of Rochester MI., falling block single shot rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #Z004. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 32” half octagon barrel with a Lyman #77 front sight added.The barrel retains nearly all of its blued finish with sharp edges on the octagon portion. The receiver is in the white with fine scroll and vine engraving by Denise Therion. The top of the action has had,“GOOD NEWS” etched into the front ring. A Lyman aperture sight has been added to the rear of the receiver. The finely checkered custom stock is in good overall condition with a Schnabel fore end and checkered steelbutt plate. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this custom falling block from the collection of Gil Newton. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (Modern).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
