Fancy Nepal Tribal Gurkha with ornately carved horn handle and leather scabbard. The knife is overall very good to nearly fine condition with a 16” overall length and 13” blade. The blade shows only handling marks and polishing. While the exquisitely carved horn handle is in very good condition with an old, crude repair at the bolster. The pommel has a silver plate inscribed, “W.C.L. FROM B.P. NEPAL 1909-19.” The brown leather scabbard is in overall good condition with some losses of finish and loosening of stitches. The mouth and toe of the sheath are decorated with silver colored metal work. A pair of 5” horn handled side knives and separate leather pouch complete the set. A neat old set from the turn of the century. Est.: $300-$600.
