Lance DuBois, a 5th generation Montanan, is a sculptor, painter, illustrator, knife maker, cowboy poet and folklorist. Portraiture, wildlife and western themes are the focal point of his art. His knife making is his passion, and his art and poetry depict the legends, humor and romance of the West. This War Hawk has a curved spring-steel head, etched with a flowering thorny scroll design, and is gun blued. The head is semi heat treated and tempered, honed and sharpened. The handle is elk antler, mortised, and epoxy stabilized, with embedded, threaded rod. The leather sheath is saddle leather, double stitched, and snapped, oiled and saddle soaped. The leather thong, has sleeved elk tips. This is a collector's replication, of a fighting war tomahawk. 406-727-0281 www.runningwolffineart.com We thank Lance DuBoise for this Donation.
