.32 bore, 8.5" octagonal to round barrels with wedding band, NSN.  Bright finish with well-figured varnished walnut stocks in the rococo style. Attractive cast brass mounts with faceted ramrod and entry pipes, triggerguard, buttcap, and sideplate depicting floral motifs and warriors in classical habit. Chiseled rounded and faceted lockplate with swan-neck cock and integral iron pan with fence. Top of barrels marked "A.C. ERLANG*ANNO 1762" and "MES COUPS SONT MORTELS" (French, "My blows are deadly"). Each with gilt poincon of a stag. **Good condition overall. Barrels have been cleaned in the European fashion. Stocks retain their original varnish and show somewhat ill-fitting wood around lockplates, possibly a replacement in the past. Actions are tight and functional. A very attractive pair of pistols.** $2,000-$3,000
