Folk Art primitive American handmade “Box” fiddle utilizing a cigar box as the body; marked “Made by Leslie Isham”. Reportedly, Isham lived in Battle, Kentucky near Mackville; History memoralized in a note which states it was madeabout 1949. With case and bow. These Folk Art instruments are from the age of “Blue Grass” and the beginnings of Country Music. (Little John’s Mama was a Carter from the Carter family of Tenn. Pioneers). Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
