Made in Braunscheig, Germany by G.L. Rasch in 1916. 26-3/4" blued fluid steel barrels with maker markings, matted rib, gold breech rings, rifle sights, and extractors in 16 gauge over 8x72R rifle. Barrels have 2-9/16" chambers and Modified cylinder chokes. Coin finished maker marked underlever action with game scene engraving, Greener safety, top tang barrel selector, and underlever opener. Action has bore scene on left and hirsch scene on right. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with right-handed cheekpiece, turkey engraved bullet trap and horn butt plate. Matching walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. LOP: 13-1/4". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 16/8x72R. S/N: 3214. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall fair with barrels turning plum. Action has turned a dull silver with sharp engraving. Stock varnish has dulled with dings and usage marks and semi-sharp checkering. Good bores with some mechanical issues and safety does not function.
