Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 350. Bbl. 22". Blade front sight without hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1200m. Right side of rear sight base marked with an eagle "214" Waffenamt, serial number, and "K.43 QVE 45". Stamped matching numbers on receiver, bolt carrier, and stock. Matching electro pencil numbers on bolt, firing pin housing, and extractor. Locking lug numbers are illegible. Phosphate and blued finishes. Laminated stock with Durofol handguard and left side sling provisions. No cleaning rod is present. Right side of stock has two eagle "214" Waffenamts. MAGS: three 10rd., all of wartime German mfg. Mags show worn finish and varying degrees of oxidation. One mag has an added hole on the right side of the body. CONDITION: stock has a thickly added finish with a couple laminate cracks on the butt, scattered dings, scratches, handling marks, and flaking varnish. Metal is turning gray with strong amounts of original blue and phosphate, a crude weld repair on the dust cover, a crack at the rear of the bolt housing, and scattered oxidation. Bolt and safety function properly when hand-cycled. Band is not coming off, and we are unable to see the piston assembly. Worn bore with scattered oxidation and pitting.
