Lonesome Mountain Outfitters is a small personalized guide outfitting business operated by Michael & Terrie-Lynne Young. This prime hunting area is located in northern British Columbia approximately 165 air miles north of Smithers, bordering on the Spatsizi Wilderness Park. The habitat in this area boasts a healthy population of big bears with rivers flush with salmon to keep them fed along with lush river valleys and forests for the moose to flourish in.
This 1:1 10 day hunt will have you flown in by charter from Smithers into camp, charter fee of $1,200 USD. The Young's main camp consists of log and frame cabins. Argos and boats could be utilized to ferry you into various remote camps with wall tents. Bring another hunter with you for $16,000 USD and a non-hunting companion for the cost of $3,00 US per day. Licenses, tags, HPF and hotel accommodations before and after the hunt are not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
