No.1: US M4 Bayonet. 6 9/16" parkerized blade. 11 1/2" overall. Crossguard is marked "U.S. / M4 / CAMILLUS". Black plastic checkered grips. Latch in pommel. Plastic scabbard marked "USM8A1". CONDITION: blade has moderate wear & thinning of its parkerized finish. Edge has been sharpened. Crossguard is loose. Grips have very light wear. Scabbard has moderate wear & staining. No.2: US Model 1942 Bayonet Shortened as Trench Knife. 6 1/2" fullered parkerized blade. 11" overall. Blade markings have been removed due to material removal. Black plastic ribbed grips. Plastic scabbard has been shortened & over-painted w/ green paint. The "US" & "flaming bomb" is partially legible. CONDITION: arsenal rework parkerized finish on metal has thinning & moderate wear. Grips show moderate wear. Scabbard has dents, wear & flaking paint. No.3: British Pattern 13 Bayonet. 17" fullered blade. 21 3/4" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "1913 / 7 / 16" & encircled "REMINGTON". Right ricasso contains "broad arrow", two view marks & "X". Straight steel crossguard. Walnut grips secured by two screws. Leather scabbard w/ metal tips. Worn scabbard markings are partly legible, showing "broad arrow". CONDITION: blade has light wear & staining, turning gray & has been sharpened, but still shows the two-tone original finish w/ blue near crossguard. Balance of metal has original blue finish w/ oxidation & fine pitting. Grips have light wear & staining. Scabbard shows considerable wear & scuffing, but stitching remains tight. No.4: US Model 1905 Bayonet. 15 1/2" fullered blade. 20 1/8" overall. Blade is faintly marked on left ricasso "SA / flaming bomb / 1918". Right ricasso is marked "US" & S#. Smooth walnut grips retained by single screw. CONDITION: bayonet has extensive oxidation, wear & pitting throughout. Grips have wear, small cracks & chipping issues. Blade has been heavily sharpened. No.5: US Model 1905 Bayonet. 15 7/8" fullered blade. 20 1/2" overall. Blade marked on left ricasso "SA / flaming bomb / 1918". Marked on right ricasso "US" & S#. Walnut grips show traces of the original coarse turned appearance. Scabbard is leather Model 1917 type. CONDITION: blade shows traces of original blue w/ oxidation & light pitting throughout. Edge has small chipping issues. Grips are well-worn w/ staining. Scabbard has considerable wear, staining & scuffing. Metal parts have extensive oxidation & fine pitting. No.6: US Model 1942 Bayonet. 16" fullered blade. 20 1/2" overall. Has been stripped, retaining only blade & crossbar. Blade marked on left ricasso "UHF / US / flaming bomb / 1942". CONDITION: bayonet shows traces of original parkerized finish w/ moderate wear & light oxidation. No.7: US Model 1873 Socket Bayonet. Triangular 18" steel blade. 21 1/8" overall. Bayonet is marked "US" on the face. Clasp is present. CONDITION: bayonet has turned mostly gray & patina w/ moderate wear throughout. No.8: US Model 1873 Socket Bayonet. 18" steel blade polished bright. 21" overall. Blade is marked "US" on face. Clasp is present. CONDITION: bayonet has cleaned appearance & is returning to gray & patina. No.9: Socket Bayonet. Marked only w/ serial number & acceptance marks. Quadrangular 20 1/4" steel blade. 23" overall. Clasp is present. CONDITION: bayonet is overall gray & patina w/ oxidation & fine pitting throughout. (02-23855/RW). NON-GUN. $300-500.
