German Hammer Cape Rifle marked, “C. BARHOLZ, HARBURG”, 16 gauge and approximately 11mm, serial #NSNV. The rifle is in good overall condition with 27” barrels marked, “GUSS STAHL”. The rifle has unfortunately suffered from poor storage and the left barrel took the brunt with moderate to heavy surface rust the length of the left barrel. The beautifully engraved receiver and underlever mechanism has gone to a silvery patina. Thestylized trigger guard has a horn finger rest as added. The finely checkered wood stock is in good condition with mars and compressions and an interesting series of small brass tacks and fox set into the buttstock, which ends with a smooth meatal butt plate. The bores are both good, the action functions and the markings are crisp. A really neat, antique cape gun that would benefit from some TLC. Est.: $275-$400.(Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
