German stag gripped hunting dagger Hirschfanger with etched blade. Late 19th to early 20th century. The blade measures 18 ½”. Silvered shell guard and deer foot cross guard. The blade is etched throughout most of its length but etching is worn and the blade is stained. A classic German “Deer catcher”. Has a fragment of its original scabbard. Est.: $200-$400
