.25 bore, 12" barrel, NSN. Late 17th-early 18th century form with large ovoid butt; tapered and stepped barrel from octagonal to faceted to round with wedding band. Carved full stock. Brass ramrod pipe, entry pipe, triggerguard with acanthus finial, and buttcap. Good skeletonized and rounded ornamental sideplate. Curled trigger. Rounded and faceted lockplate with rounded swan-neck cock. Integral iron lockplate with fence. Lockplate marked in script, possibly "Green". Wood ramrod is a later replacement.  **Good condition. Barrel has an untouched dark gunmetal patination with smooth even pitting throughout. Some minor sections of missing wood with some wear to sharp edges from age and possible refinishing. Action holds at half and full-cock but does not release upon trigger pull. Bore is good with some old grime and scaling.** $2,000-$3,000
