35.25& #34; double edged blade, 1.5& #34; wide at ricasso. Overall length 41& #34; Steel basket guard with wire-wrapped grip secured with Turk& #39;s heads. Pierced double-shell guard and globular pommel. Bars of guard secured to pommel with screws. Unique non-linear distal taper to blade. Very good condition overall. Some scattered oxidation to blade with imperfections to cutting edge consistent with offensive and defensive use. Point may have been re-profiled from damage in its service life.
