5-days of hunting in the heart of the Coastal Mountains of Northern British Columbia. Hunters choice of pursuing Coastal Bears near Terrace, BC or Interior Bears near Smithers, BC. This is a 5-day hunt for Trophy Black Bear in the heart of some of the best Bear hunting areas British Columbia has to offer. Spot & Stalk and/or predator calling are preferred methods for trophy boars that average 6-7' with B&C Trophies up to 8' taken in the past. The Spring Season runs April 1- June 30. The best time period is mid-May to mid-June. In this area, the bears come out of hibernations during mid-late May when the rut gets feverish. The hides are prime and the bears have to feed during evening hours because of the long daylight & desire to eat profusely after the long winter. This hunt includes the trophy fee for 1 black bear, wall tent accommodations, ($500 hotel upgrade possible in some areas) all guiding & meals. Hunt maybe scheduled for 2018 unless agreed to by outfitter to extend based on schedule. Additional costs: 5% GST ($300), License & Tags ($400) Optional 2nd Black Bear $1500 (each hunter). Upgrade for observer to hunt $3000. Wolf Tag $50.
