VZ. 27 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 332533. Bbl. 3 7/8". vz.27 semi-automatic pistol, mfg. in Czechoslovakia at the CZ arsenal while under German occupation during World War II. The left side of the slide is marked with CZ's mfg. code "fnh", followed by the model and cal. designations, with an eagle firing proof and the S# marked over the top of the slide at the rear. Right side of the frame is marked with an Eagle/WaA76 acceptance proof and the S#. Frame and slide exhibit a blue finish, with the hammer, trigger, and grip screws exhibiting a straw finish. Bbl. is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece checkered brown plastic "CZ" logo wraparound grip. Half-moon blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame and slide. MAGS: one 8-rd. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting light edge wear and some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Strawed components are very good, showing some light wear overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grip is excellent, showing few minor superficial marks and nicks overall from handling and storage. A very nice, high-condition example of a German occupation production CZ vz.24 pistol.
