Ever wanted to see wild Africa? Here is your chance. Repeat donor Muchinga Adventures is offering an exciting hippo hunt for one hunter and one observer. Enjoy five days of hunting in the wilds of Zambia. Truly a magnificent adventure! All of those who have previously gone to this part of the world, have come back with very high accolades and comments saying it was life changing in some small or big way.
You can expect to see lots of game. Elephants and hippos in camp right outside your cabin door is common. Crocs too in the river. Occasionally you may hear the bellow of a lion, or the sounds of hyenas. Many members of the SCI Michigan chapter have made this trip, and more than once too.
Muchinga Adventures Ltd – Zambia and John du Plooy are proud to offer a 5-day 1x1 guided delux hunt for one hippo and plains game in Chifunda GMA, North Luangwa Zambia. All meat from the hippo will be donated to the community and scouts in Chifunda GMA. Plains game and extra animals available on this safari will be subject to quota availability but are expected to include bushbuck, crocodile, hyaena, puku, impala, warthog and cookson wildebeest. Schedule dates with Outfitter during 2021 only. This outstanding hunting block has 70km of river frontage with the North Luangwa National park. Overlooking the scenic Luangwa River the camp offers en-suite chalets, lounge and dining area. Included are accommodations, meals and guide service. Field prep is included. Additional hunters and observers welcome; see outfitter details. Not included are before/after expenses, internal transfers (US$3300 in private charter unshared each way or commercial flight to Mfuwe approximately US$450 with six hours drive to camp), trophy fees for the Hippo, all other species wounded or killed, all insurances, dip and pack, dipping and gratuities. For any of our 2021 clients who are unable to travel home as scheduled for any reason whatsoever there will be Covid compliant accommodation and all meals provided in Lusaka at no extra cost.
