Henno has always believed that the success of a safari is reflected in the memories that you take home with you after the safari. Henno also believes that the foundation of a memorable safari lies in honest, hard work, and respect for nature and all wildlife. Henno Cronje has been offering hunts to the Greater Dacotah Chapter for the past 10 years with great comments from hunters that purchased a variety of plains game and dangerous game hunts with Henno! One of our board members has taken his entire family hunting with Henno in South Africa, and in April booked a hunt with Henno for his grandson to hunt plains game! Henno is all you could ask for in a professional hunter!
This hunt from HS Safaris includes either a Crocodile or Cape Buffalo for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter included in the 10 hunt days. Schedule Trip in 2023 and type of accommodation is full catering. Method of take for either species is rifle. Other game species may be added at current price list at time of hunt. Field prep is included such as caping skinning and salting. Transportation charters are required (air-ground) with additional charges from trip arrival and departure point at Tete, Mozambique and arranged by professional hunter upon consultation with hunter. Cites permits are required and other government fees per species. Where shipping is required, it will be the bidder’s responsibility to pay for the packaging and shipping. Any firearms shipments, the purchaser will have to pay the transfer fees to the FFL dealer and provide a copy of the FFL license to First Stop Gun Shop in Rapid City, SD.

All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase or work with the outfitter to change the dates of the hunt.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
SCI-GDC is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-GDC has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-GDC does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-GDC donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-GDC with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-GDC within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-GDC does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is,” including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty or guarantees on the part of SCI-GDC or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-GDC and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-GDC and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic, acts of god, or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-GDC or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
SCI-GDC. The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
SCI-GDC reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
All donations will be used for efforts to protect our hunting heritage, wildlife conservation projects, and other core missions of SCI and SCI-GDC, so please bid generously!
