Made originally by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1910 and customized circa 1930 by Hervey Lovell of Indianapolis, Indiana. 26" blued round target weight sightless barrel fitted with Posa type scope blocks and marked "H. Lovell" at breech. Gun appears to be chambered for 22 Savage High Power. Action is blued and engraved with Schuetzen double set triggers. Action has floral type engraving with center circle deer scene on left side signed "H. Hilton Engr." and turkey scene on right side. Custom checkered walnut butt stock with cheekpiece fitted with Pederson style adjustable Helm butt plate and matching walnut checkered beavertail forearm. CONDITION
Overall 90% bright blue with sharp engraving. Wood has sharp checkering with 90% original hand rubbed finish and light handling marks. Butt plate is missing top screw. Good bore and mechanics.
