Made by J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts circa 1915. 30" blued half octagon No. 1 weight barrel marked with Stevens two lined address in 28-30 Stevens caliber with Wind gage front sight and Winchester 22G rear sight and Soule Vernier tang peep sight. Barrel is serial numbered to the rifle. Nickel plated deep chisel floral engraved 44-1/2 action with plain trigger and four finger loop lever. Walnut checkered pistol grip Schuetzen stock with nickel plated Swiss butt plate and matching checkered splinter forearm. J.T. Livengood Collection. CALIBER: 28-30 Stevens. S/N: 1069. CONDITION
90% original blue with light case wear at muzzle and at handling areas. 90% remaining nickel with spot of wear at carrying area. Worn checkering with 90% original varnish with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics.
