Hunting the high country has its own set of problems: tough walking conditions, slippery vine maple, steep, rocky, slick, and uncertain terrain. Because every step you take could end your hunt, your boots are vitally important. Our new, custom-made High Country Hunter boot features true triple vamp moccasin construction with hand-molded outer sole, a design that molds to your foot and lets you "feel" where your feet are, providing superior support and excellent balance. Equipped with "CLAWS" original Air Bob Soles and Heels with outside cleats, ending sliding, slipping and falling. Thick resilient mid-sole wedge absorbs heavy shock loads, easing knee and ankle fatigue.
These boots are lightweight (about 4 lbs per pair) and the unique Weather Tuff with high water repellency keeps feet dry and the boot light. Close fitting tops, equipped with a cushion collar keep water out when fording streams. Built with leather heel counters, providing added side to side support for steep hillsides.
If your feet give out, the hunt is over. Don't let a pair of ill-fitting boots ruin your hunt of a lifetime.
