Keith Richard's Hill Country Custom Knives brings you a true work of art in the knife-makers trade with his CUSTOM MADE KNIFE approximately 6 1/2" to 6 3/4" long and made to wear horizontally housed in a cross draw sheath. The knife is hand crafted using scimitar oryx horn for the handle on a custom blade of carbon steel. Made in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Keith makes all types of knives including hunting knives, fishing knives, kitchen cutlery, folders, and just about any custom knife you can dream up using a variety of steel and handle materials. All blades are custom profiled and ground, and hand fitted to a sheath, making them a true "one of a kind" knife. Keith is a master craftsman who takes great pride in his work. Born and raised in South Louisiana, he worked as a gunsmith and later owned Custom Gun Works for over 20 years. During his time at the gun shop, Keith met some experienced knife makers who gave him some pointers in knife making. In 2003, he sold the business and headed to the Hill Country, and the rest, as they say, is history. There he was able to work on and perfect his skills in knife making. Keith now offers his knives for sale, doing his best to satisfy any and all of his clients. Always learning and with great appreciation to others in the business who enjoy helping one another by sharing trade secrets, Keith is proud to produce custom knives he knows his clients will enjoy as they pass them down to future generations. This is a 100% donation.
