Paulilo Halsted has donated a seven (7) day combination fishing trip and Hippo Hunt for 1 hunter and 1 observer. This borders on the ultimate CAST & BLAST experience! Terry & Patty Ehrhardt spent 4 days fishing at Paulilo’s camp at Nyakasanga on the Zambezi River. Paulilo is a most gracious and accommodating host and his lodge is true luxury on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The winning bidder of this hunt can substitute the Hippo Hunt for a Cape Buffalo hunt for an additional charge of $6,100. (this includes 3 more days and the trophy fee for the Cape Buffalo). Hunt dates are September 1 – 30, 2018 ONLY. Upgrading to a Cape Buffalo will give more flexibility in scheduling. Plains game, Crocodile, Tuskless Elephant available per the trophy fee schedule. Additional animals are subject to availability. This donation includes trophy fees for 1 Hippo, fishing on the Zambezi River, accommodations, gourmet meals, alcohol, daily laundry, Paulilo as your professional hunter, vehicle, trackers, and skinners. The hunt begins less than a mile from the camp. Not included is roundtrip driving ($800) or charter ($2680) from Harare to Camp. There is a possibility of lower flight rates if scheduling permits.
