DUCK AND SNIPE HUNT BY AIRBOAT for (1) Hunter with (1) Accompanying Paid Hunter for (1) Full Day with Holmes Crew Outfitters in Lake Placid, Florida
VALUE: $700.00
DUCK HUNT IN THE MORNING THAN SNIPE HUNT IN THE AFTERNOON.
WINNING BIDDER MUST BRING ANOTHER HUNTER FOR BOTH HUNTS AT $350.00 PER HUNT (TOTAL OF $700.00.)
Holmes Crew Outfitters was started by Walker Holmes in 2023 in Lake Placid, Florida. He is a young, successful hunter that will find the birds for you. Generally, you will be hunting by boat, but they will accommodate in some areas with waders if preferred. Hunt and stay and visit Lake Placid, Florida!
Waterfowl habitat covers vast expanses of Florida, and much of it is open and available for public hunting. Florida is a great place to hunt waterfowl with easy public access and a hunter success rate that is well above other states in the Atlantic Flyway. Good management helps ensure that Florida’s waterfowl populations are robust and healthy. This allows for long-term, sustainable hunting opportunities and continues Florida’s waterfowl hunting tradition. The interior freshwater rivers, lakes, and Stormwater Treatment Areas garner most hunter attention, but excellent water fowling exists along the coasts, too. With nearly 2,300 miles of tidal shoreline and rivers that greet the saltwater, Florida's coastal habitats are winter homes to large numbers of waterfowl.
One of Florida's prettiest small towns, Lake Placid boasts nearly 50 outdoor murals adorning its downtown buildings. Found in the lake-intensive center of the state and known as the Caladium Capital of the World, Lake Placid’s attractions include 27 freshwater lakes, Toby's Clown School and a small-town charm people love. The annual Caladium Festival is held the end of July, Henscratch Farms Vineyard & Winery hosts an annual Grape Stomp in August, and a Saturday Morning Market is held on the second Saturday of each month October through March. Enjoy the area's unique ecosystem at Archbold Biological Station, as well as a historically good time at the Depot Museum, home of the red caboose and local history artifacts displayed by the Lake Placid Historical Society. In 2012, Reader’s Digest named Lake Placid “America’s Most Interesting Town.”
