Pass it On Outdoors has an excellent relationship with Iowa FNAWS. Inasmuch, Pass it On Outdoors was also granted a non-resident Iowa Whitetail tag and has asked Iowa FNAWS to auction this tag for them. Therefore, we have decided to offer this tag in conjunction with the one we are offering. Everything is the same as the previous tag and proceeds will go directly to Pass it On Outdoors for their program of "empowering young people through outdoor experiences and mentorship, and by using outdoor experiences as a platform to mentor young people of diverse backgrounds."

This will be the thirteenth year that Iowa FNAWS is honored to have this Governor’s Iowa non-resident deer tag. Iowa is home to some of the biggest whitetails in the country. This tag allows the high bidder to hunt statewide and includes for two deer; one any sex as well as one antlerless permit, and the high bidder can choose from any season including archery, shotgun (which includes straight-walled rifle cartridges) or late muzzleloader. Hunting seasons and dates can be found at www.iowadnr.gov. In addition to the winning bid, the high bidder will have to pay directly to the Iowa DNR the normal cost of the tag and small game/habitat fee of $551. Past auction prices have ranged from $5,000 to over $20,000. Tag is available for the 2024 or 2025 season and the winning bidder must contact Denise Roberg, Specialty License Manager at Iowa DNR, by September 1, 2024 to specify choice of season. Contact Denise Roberg, 515-340-8434. Email: denise.roberg@dnr.iowa.gov. Website: www.iowadnr.gov

A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit (unless prohibited by state statute), of which the proceeds will be dedicated to Iowa FNAWS’ various conservation funding. If the winner refuses to pay the required premium, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder for his/her bid price
