The Owner, Homer Brown is a native to Idaho County and grew up in White Bird, Idaho. After he returned home from the United States Army, Homer pursued his Captain's license and started working as a Jet Boat Captain doing what he truly loves- guiding fishing trips on the river. With 10 years of experience working in the Outfitter Industry, Homer was able to start his own outfitting business: Hammer Down River Excursions in White Bird, ID! He wanted to start showing people what its like to fish and tour the Salmon River and Hells Canyon like a local!
