2-day/2-night 4x1 fishing adventure for four in Chicago, IL on the shores of Lake Michigan for salmon (King & Coho Salmon) and trout (Brown, Lake, & Rainbow). This package includes bed & breakfast lodging with quick petite breakfast, lunch/snacks on the boat, chef-prepared catch-of-the-day dinners with appetizers, 2 days of fishing (5-6 hours dock to dock, weather/waves permitting) or limit catch each day, use of fishing/audio equipment (new Shimano rods & reels, lures/bait, Cannon downriggers, full suite of Garmin electronics, live view sonar, radar, fusion Bluetooth stereo/speakers), fish prep/pack (guest to provide cooler), airport pickup/return from Midway or O' Hare International Airports and car/shoreline and boat tours of Chicago's landmarks, historical heritage buildings (Frank Lloyd Wright home), Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Cubs Stadium, and Soldier Field, to name a few. This trip is available July-September 2024 and may be upgraded to include extra fishing days, other fishing locations, # hours fished or by adding Chicago-based special events such as the air show (dates) or other festivals, all at current price list. Method of fishing is running offshore and trolling multiple rods using a combination of downriggers, divers, copper and lead core and high lines with spoons, flies and flashers. Occasionally trolling cut bait is used in conjunction with flashers, as it can produce best results on large King Salmon & other large fish. Boat is a 3000 open model 2008 Tiara with 12.5-foot beam, powered by twin 385 Crusaders. This trip will target an unknown world class large Lake Trout fishery, Coho salmon and anadromous Rainbow Trout (Skamania) fishery with chances at King salmon and Brown Trout. There also are rare chances at Atlantic salmon, Pink Salmon and possibly a few Pinhook Salmon in our area. The Seeforellen brown trout and Skamania steelhead (rainbow trout) are species that have the potential to live longest (along with lake trout), growing fast, allowing them to reach above average sizes. Not included are fishing licenses/stamp at $25/pp non-resident, gratuities for supporting staff, alcoholic drinks, (alcohol within reason) and side trips to Field Museum, Museum of Natural History, Chicago history Museum, the Aquarium and other sites. NOTE: $300 deposit (applied to gratuity) will be required at booking to save dates.

By submitting an electronic bid in the DSC Great Lakes Regional Chapter virtual auction on March 2024, bidder acknowledges that all bids submitted are legally binding offers to purchase and, if accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, constitutes a legally bidding contract between the bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter. Once submitted, no bid may be removed. The auctioneer is the sole authority in establishing specific bid increments, the high bidder (purchaser), and the amount bid. Successful bidder acknowledges further that, should their bid be accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, they are legally responsible to consummate the sale not later than the 12:00 a.m. the date immediately following the auction sale. All auction sales shall be considered consummated only be means of making payment in full via credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Bidder further acknowledges that all credit card purchases shall be in the amount of the high bid submitted plus a 4% bank administrative fee and that in the instance of the purchase of physical items, buyer shall be solely responsible for packaging, shipping and insurance expenses and/or the expense of the transfer of firearms from a local, licensed FFL holder to a FFL holder of the buyers choice.
Specific goods and/or services described in the official auction offering constitute the full and complete agreement between the high bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors, donors and Dallas Safari Club, individually and/or collectively. The DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject any bid offered on an item identified in the auction item description as having a reserve bid.
Neither the DSC - Great Lakes Regional Chapter, specific hunt donors and/or Dallas Safari Club guarantee or warrant that trophy animals of any species, or that any animals of any quality, will be taken on any hunt/trip offered for sale by means of the Chapter auction.
Consummation of an auction purchase, as described above, is an acknowledgement that the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors and/or Dallas Safari Club affirm that they have not in any manner inspected good/services sold via auction. Further, buyer is advised to secure a competent inspection of firearms, archery equipment, knives, ammunition, and weapons of any manner prior to use. All goods are sold as is without any warranty of any type, of faults and/or defects of any manner. All warrantees and/or guarantees for all goods and/or services are those provided solely by specific manufactures.
All services sold by means of the auction have been secured from, and are to be provided by, third parties. No services of any kind are to be provided directly by the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter or by Dallas Safari Club. DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club bear no responsibility/liability for the delivery or quality of services of any item sold by means of the auction or any loss or damage arising from, or connected to, performance or non-performance of any service purchased by means of the auction. Further, purchaser acknowledges that actions of governmental agencies, foreign or domestic, are beyond the control of the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and/or Dallas Safari Club. As such, DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club make no guarantees/warrantees related to services disrupted and/or not performed as a result of any action taken by any governmental agency.
