Interesting Winchester Model 1876 lever action saddle ring carbine, .40-60 caliber with a 28” octagon barrel (confirmed by factory letter!), S/N 54594, blued finish, wood stocks in overall good to very good condition displaying a dark patina to metal surfaces; overall good bore, crisp action, very good markings, replaced old blade insert in front sight; good wood stocks showing weathering and scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; also an old period inlaid brass 5-point star on left side of stock. Original factory letter confirms features and indicates received in warehouse on July 29, 1886 and shipped on November 16, 1886 to order number 12271. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
