McHarg & Co., Rome, N.Y. high quality exposed hammer double barrel shotgun showing European quality and numbered 1083; most likely a British manufactured arm and mcHarg was the importer however we were unable toremove barrel key without damage to examine; 12 gauge, 30”Damascus barrel with side lever release circa about 1875-1890; bores fair to good (barrels very thick), locks good, metal good, stock broken at wrist and taped; worthrestoring as it was a quality arm. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
