The Model 41 was a single shot .22 rifle made by Marlin and sold by Sears, Roebuck and Company under the name J.C. Higgins from 1946 through 1962/1963.Bolt-action, single-shot. Blued finish, original wood stock has been replaced with a black textured synthetic stock. Plastic butt plate, and triggerguard. Chrome plated bolt, and trigger. 22" barrel. bore appears very good bright. Has knob on bolt to cock manually for each shot. Functions properly. About 90% blue with some minor handling/edge wear, stock is excellent. Great starter rifle.
